Has and all the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. They accepted with pleasure our request to change room to a quieter one facing the canal without charge. Hotel very central and 5 minutes walk to the Central Station and walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, museums, etc. Good breakfast and definitely recommend if you want to be in the heart of the center.

I enjoyed my stay, it's an old building so I didn't expect much from an old building in Amsterdam. If you've been to Amsterdam then you know of the steep staircases and thin hallways but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. For the price I paid for being so close to the central train station I am satisfied.

Hotel is currently under refurbishment Wasnt really much noise from the building work that is really the only con about it The location was perfect within walking distance of everything you needed food drinks cafes all along the strip of road ourhotel was based room was perfect for a short stay honestly couldnt complain

Location is amazing - less than 10min from Central station and less than 10 to dam square. Single room is very small but I didn’t need anymore space it was perfect for me. It was hot on the top floor but I like the heat. Be prepared to lug your suitcase up a narrow winding wooden staircase to get to the top floor as the elevator doesn’t go up there. Staff were super friendly and helpful and attentive. Breakfast is at the pancake restaurant next door. Overall very happy with my stay!

We had a great stay! The location is perfect. It’s in the Red Light District but so easy to get everywhere. An easy walk to Centraal station. We were surprised we didn’t hear any street noise either. Small rooms, to be expected in any old building but it was clean and beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Loved this hotel!

The hotel is very central and close to Central Station. It was possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in but for a stay of only one night, it was comfortable enough. The staff were friendly and courteous and everything like booking in was easy and understandable.....although I haven't had a chance to see if my "Room Damage" deposit is back in my account :)
