"Very nice location and the room was clean. The bed was large and comfortable for a European hotel. The staff is excellent, friendly and attentive and the lobby/bar area was classic. The room was just unusual with a large tub, sink, and shower seperated only by a curtain (no separate room). Overall it was a good experience if a bit overpriced given the room decor and layout. "

From the moment we entered the lobby, we remembered why we loved HE so much!The hotel is beautiful, elegant and exquisite! The staff is professional and friendly! And the candies, beverages, pastries and snacks that are available all day, are a nice touch! The location is perfect to visit Amsterdam by foot or on public transportation. We cannot say enough about this gem!"

"The property itself was clean. For a one night stay across the train station, it met our needs. Staff were helpful and friendly. The surrounding area however can be noisy and because of near bars/red light district it may not be suitable for families. If looking for convenience and near transportation to the airport , this is a great choice. "
