"We celebrated an engagement at the Kāmana Lakehouse and honestly it se the tone for our whole trip. It was so lovely to come home to such a cozy and chic hotel. The fires roaring in the lobby, the views from the restaurant, it all made for a very warm experience. The staff were very friendly! We didn’t get to experience the soaking tubs because they were in high demand, so we suggest booking your soaks ahead of time!"

"Absolutely adored our stay at the Heritage. From signing in to signing out we had a lovely experience. The staff were so kind and helpful and the hotel itself was gorgeous. Our only bit of feedback- and I’m scraping the barrel here- is that it would be nice to have smart TVs and drop the sky as it makes for better watching but with all the entertainment in the area and the stunning scenery there was little time for TV anyway. "

"This is my regular hotel when I stay in Wellington. The location is excellent for my needs; so simple to get into town on foot. It’s comfortable and clean, with excellent, flavourful and hearty food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Where this hotel really shines is in the quality of its staff. Without exception, every person I met on this stay was polite, professional and sparkling with warmth and charm. Special mention of the beautiful lady who manages the breakfasts, and also the team on the front desk. Always a lovely stay, but this trip was particularly pleasant.
