"A beautiful, quiet property with stunning views from the dining area and porch. It was a great place to spend time and go visit the wonderful places around Rotorua. It was good to meet the on-site host, Chris, and his sweet cat. "

"The house is big and spacious and clean. Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen with pot, pans, utensils. Bonus- there were tea, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil and soya sauce. The host gave some extra snacks. The beds were comfortable. Availability to use washing machine and dry clothes outside was good. The kitchens sink taps were the old 1960’s where hot and cold were separated. That was difficulty to manage. "

"My family and I stayed at this property after traveling extensively across New Zealand. We very much enjoyed the homey and comfortable feel. The communication with Andrea was phenomenal! Andrea was easy to connect with and ask questions as well as providing the necessary information. We enjoyed the small town feel of Twizel while still having ready access to the dark sky preserve and Mount Cook. I highly recommend this location!"
