"Absolutely lovely and sophisticated property with tons of history. It was so unique and exciting to stay here. Only thing I did wish was that they would throw in free wi-fi. With all the money spent to stay here, I would think that would be a small convenience."

"Great New York experience!!! Everyone employed at hotel and restaurants in hotel were just amazing!! So very nice, friendly & accommodating. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to Macys, Madison Square Garden and tons more! Inside hotel room was nearly silent, so soundproof! We slept great. Parking garage less than a block that gives huge discount for hotel patrons (get ticket validated upon check out). Will absolutely be staying here on our future visits!! "

"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "Undergoing construction currently, bathrooms were not kept very clean. Beds were small, could not fit and uncomfortable. "

"The rooms are small and look dated but are tidy and inviting. Need updated outlets and more up to date USB friendly connections. The bathroom is spacious and water pressure is great! Overall decent hotel. "

"Very beautiful area. The rooms are a little worn down but clean. Unfortunately our run was I’ve cold with no heat on. We turned it on but it took hours before it started getting warm. Great indoor pool and gym. Great restaurant next door but make reservations! Would definitely come back, but in the Spring"
