"If you like a room that smells humid and like an old cigarette, this is a place for you. The room hasn’t been upgraded in a generation and the shower had water damage and black mold on the ceiling. The pool and hottub were shut down, and looked like they had been for a while. Of course they didn’t provide notice of any of this, especially to a family coming up to enjoy skiing, and all the outdoor activities the Lake Placid area has to offer, and would love nothing else but to soak in a hot tub...

The room is small, we were tired so we slept well, but there the walls are thin, so you can hear many sounds at night. For a night or two is great. Also they offer parking a property around the corner, so that was great, we probably will be back. "
