"It is a bit far from the city centre, but we stayed only one night before flying home so for us it was not a problem. The only problem we had was that the restaurant doesn't have a menu in English! That is not ok in a 4 star hotel. We also had a waitress who didn't speak a word of English, but we got another one who spoke English (but didn't know what salmon is). "

"Good hotel at the central avenue of the town. A bit further away from the sea shore. The sea in a distance could be seen only from upper floors. All main business centres and shops of the town are within walking distance. The hotel is relatively new. Overall good facilities, small gym is available. Upper floor bar is not working and seems is open only on special occasions. Rooms are good, standard ones, nothing super-special. "The hotel was good for the location. It had a stop of the bus taking you to the airport directly. My room was very spacious, and this was the cheapest room on the property. The breakfast was not a buffet and I had to book a time for my breakfast and choose the menu. Still, the cook was not available at the appointed time and I had to wait."

"Good & helpful staff, good breakfast, This area is best for local experience, good local restaurants/cafes esp Shavlego 2 bars & good wine bar. Chose this Hotels based on reviews. To be near Irish and English bars, cocktail bars & up market restaurants Kazakhstan Hotel is much nearer these but does not have 'local' experience"
