"It was a cheap and surprisingly good room - for this price I expected scam or hostel. The room looks exactly as on the pic, quite spacious. Bathroom is okay. Shampoo, soap, dental kit, slippers were provided during check-in. Cards payment accepted. No elevator, so 3rd floor is quite a challenge with a 25 kg suitcase. "If you’re searching for a hotel to stay in Almaty but you’re put off by the room rates at the Ritz-Carlton, my advice is get a temporary second job to increase your budget because this hotel, their staff and the facilities are worth every penny of the cost. The staff are second to none in their attention to detail, their anticipation of your requirements and going the extra mile to make your stay not just good but verging on the magical! The management deserve an accolade for achieving such a high standard of service from every member of staff in all departments of this hotel. Bravissimo! "
