"Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend "

"Overnight stay prior to cruise the following day. Room really big and clean, toilet separate from The shower/bath room, not sure I like that . Staff lovely, didn’t have breakfast. Man on the bar very friendly and chatty. Lovely stay "

"Location of hotel is lovely. Great for exploring Hayling Island and nearby area. Condition of the hotel is a little tired but we understand that an updating programme is in progress. Rooms were a good size and well equipped. Bathrooms could do with updating. Staff were fantastic - could not do enough to help. "
