"Excellent place to stay. Refurbished rooms, very comfortable and well done. Food excellent and most importantly the staff couldn't do more to help. They were outstanding. One word of warning-if you park in the car park, expect the local birdlife to leave you numerous mementoes of your visit. "

"Excellent traditional English inn with lots of charm and character. The comfortable, warm room on a freezing January night was most welcome, as were the open log fires in the bar/restaurant. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating and the food was to a very good standard. The Timothy Taylor’s Landlord Bitter was an unexpected bonus !"

"The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. "We had a very comfortable nights stay here. Easy, precise instructions for gaining access to the property, and a very comfortable room. Host was very easy to speak to and the breakfast tray was amazing! Good pub just up the road too! "

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."
