"Booked for a gig at the Guildhall and this hotel is a very easy 10 minute walk to the venue. Loads of places to eat. Took advantage of the 10% discount at some stores for holiday inn guests. Wasn’t sure about where to park, and missed the entrance to the hotel but just parked in the gunwharf main multi storey. Ticket validated at check in and it was made clear free for 24 hours, then £2 per day. I think this should be made clearer upon booking. Breakfast was good, had to wait for some items to...

"Nothing bad to say about this hotel. The staff were lovely. The hotel has great facilities but we didn't make use of them this time round due to other plans in the city which is just a few minutes away by cab. "Stayed for two nights last week and everything was great: clean room, well-appointed with fridge, hair dryer, etc., easy parking, close to everything. The best thing is the young staff who made us feel very welcome. Compliments to the bartender, Minty and Nick the manager, who was very well informed about the local attractions and who helped us plan a plan a route to see the interesting churches, ruins, palaces, and pubs nearby. I will recommend a stay here to all friends visiting Winchester."
