"We only had one night in London on our way back to Nashville, and staying at The Ostrich Inn in Slough was absolutely the best choice we could have made! From the moment we walked in, we were transported back in time—this place has been standing since 1106, and you can feel the history in every creaky floorboard and flickering candle. The atmosphere? "Friendly and great location with easy parking. Room was clean although a little dated, but as they seem to be renovating sure this will change. A shame lots of hotel is closed for renovations and not mentioned when booking, however the great view, clean and spacious room and ease of stay means I would happily stay again."

"We received a nice welcome at the reception desk and told we should be able to check in early so went to the bar and had a drink whilst we waited. The bar staff were quite chaotic and disorganized. When we entered our room it smelt very musty almost as though someone has been smoking in the room. We were impressed by the comfort of the room but it had no view.
