"The food was incredible. The pumpkin and goats cheese starter was creamy and 5star taste. Pheasant was cooked beautifully. It was worth paying more to have a sofa in our room. Swimming pool doesnt smell chemically, I think they use something other than chlorine. "

"On arrival our booking was wrong. We had requested minimal stairs for my wife and a classic twin room. They had designated a double. We were given an upgrade to a suite. Great! but it was up a flight of stairs. In the end my wife managed them with a struggle. Problem apart this is a lovely hotel."

"Lovely room overlooking the river. Refurb in progress and one or two minor niggles with the room (which did not spoil things). Young staff very attentive and friendly. Lovely and substantial continental breakfast. Greatly improved since our previous stay before present owner took over. Overall very pleasant overnight stay and will certainly visit again. Convenient for Bray restaurants!"

My biggest complaint was that it was so warm we had to keep the windows open all the time, which meant we had to listen to traffic noise all the time, and there is a lot of traffic noise. Other notes: Window blinds were damaged and half-functional. Combination clothes washer/dryer does not dry effectively. Only one key is provided for an apartment that sleeps six. "
