"I had a good experience at this small hotel in Laurales. The area is great, a few mins walk to many supermarkets, restaurants, parks etc. Staff are friendly and attentive but don’t speak English, which is fine once you know basic Spanish. Breakfast is tasty and has a good variety. The rooms are a little outdated style wise but they have air conditioning (rare for Medellin) and good hot water. Overall good value! "

"This hostel is good all around, but what I like the most is the personnel, everyone is friendly, professional, and willing to help, the receptionists, the cafeteria employees, the supervisors, the cleaning staff, the security guards every body. "Odd hotel in a good way. You have to stay there to understand. Service, bars, and restaurants all excellent. Rooftop pool nice as well. Breakfast was excellent. Best bar is by far the higher rooftop one. Great vibe, view and cocktails. "
