There are plenty places to sit & enjoy a meal and also nice quiet spaces to lounge in. It's also across the street from the beach & they provide beach towels. The staff was very pleasant. I am already booking our next stay! "

"Oh my goodness, we love Hotel Effie. My husband are empty nesters, and have taken an after-Christmas break for two years now. The staff is so friendly and attentive, and we love the closeness to Baytowne Wharf. This year we had a couple’s massage that was perfect: deep tissue for him and hot stones for me. Again, the experience and facilities were great, with everything we needed for a hot shower, then off to breakfast! I feel pampered when we stay at Hotel Effie."

"The pool was great. It's close to the beach. The hotel facilities were new. The housekeeper was very friendly. The only thing that disappointed me was that the front desk lady seemed unhappy when I checked in on the first day. She had a stern face during the whole time, but the front desk ladies in the following days greeted me with a smile. Overall, it was a very happy stay."
