"Room was comfortable, quiet and well maintained. I had an excellent stay. Looking at online reviews, I see some have complained about the fitness center at this property. Based on other major chain hotels I have visited in recent years, I thought it was relatively well equipped. There are 3 small rooms chock full of equipment, including a leg press machine, as well as all the more typical stuff (treadmills, stationery cycles, elliptical, etc. etc.) My only complaint was the destination fee,...

"By far the best city and the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The Generals Suite was amazing and very spacious! It was perfect for our Romantic getaway! Phillip has a private bar inside the hotel and he made us feel so welcomed. He helped us pick restaurants and helped us find the best places right there in the French Quarter! We definitely will be back!! "
