"We booked this hotel for 2 nights, before our cruise. It is a lovely Victorian with charm and convenience. Being on St Charles Ave, the streetcar is right in front of the hotel. And right in the middle of the French Quarter and the Garden District of New Orleans. Restaurants, cocktail lounges, and shopping, are all within walking distance as well. Our host Diane was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We are looking forward to another stay here, next time we get to New Orleans. "

"While the overall room was as described, there is not a traditional bathroom. The shower is in the room and the small closet the stand alone toilet is in is incredibly TINY. I am a petite female and had trouble fitting in the extremely tight space. The room holds 2 people max. As long as you know ahead of time of the space, it is located in a fabulous part of the French Quarter and super close to the Marigny."
