"Beautifully renovated old home - only downside was rooms were on second floor and no elevator for luggage but Diane agreed to hold the luggage and I only took what I needed for my brief overnight stay up the stairs. The room we originally booked did have an AC malfunction and the liason quickly moved us into another more luxurious room. The stay was incredible, one we will never forget!! If I did have anything to say, it would be that I did text the number to get more towels and never got a response. It ended up being ok in the end, but thought I'd mention it."

"Two night stay to experience New Orleans. B&W was only a few short blocks from Frenchman St., the river walk, market, Jackson square and fairly easy walk to Bourbon street. The property was quirky but certainly served the purpose. Bed was comfortable. Shower worked ok and had a jet tub…didn’t try. I was all set for hot tub after first day of walking about 15 miles around the sites…but it was only 1/2 full and very grungy. Outdoor seating areas were relaxing and visually pleasing. "We absolutely loved our weekend at Blythewood! It was beautiful. Perfect weather. Ipha, Lloyd and the chef were all so friendly and welcoming. We had a large downstairs rooms. Access to kitchen was a plus! Will definitely stay again. We also enjoyed all the local restaurants and antique stores in the area. Our Mimosas and quiche brunch on Sunday was perfect. "
