"Me and my friend had a great stay and felt like home in this apartment located on the 28th floor. The building is modern and located in a new built, safe and calm family friendly vietnamese neighbourhood. no tourists in sight, still just a shorter motorbike/car ride to the old quarters and other tourist attractions. "We had a wonderful stay at the Jade Oriental. It’s a very charming place in the old Hanoi neighborhood. The decor was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and efficient. We loved the flowers in the lobby. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast Room in the basement was very pleasant and offered a wonderful array of different foods. "

GREAT place to Stay

"The staff is outstanding. They are polite, professional, respectful and hospitable - they made the stay outstanding. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The location is outstanding and just a short walk from several must see sites in the Old Quarter. The shopping and eating recommendations were flawless. Would definitely stay here again."

"Above all, I would say that the hotel staff is fabulous. They are kind, attentive, friendly, and could not have been more welcoming. The only issue that we had was concerning the park next to our hotel room that was blasting music day and night. After traveling over 20 hours, it would’ve been nice to have been able to get a good night sleep. I will also note that there were a lot of Scaffolding and miscellaneous extra hotel stuff that was stacked outside of our window of the bathroom. I thought that was unprofessional and would have preferred not to have had to look at it. "

"The property was tucked away in a perfect location in Hanoi Old Quarter. After a 20 hr flight from Canada we arrived to a spacious, quiet suite with a very comfortable bed and ‘the best’ pillows! We found most, if not all, sights we wanted to see were in walking distance or a trip on the Hop On/Off bus took us there. As the street traffic (for walking in the evening) can be a bit overwhelming (but safe) we dined exclusively at the restaurant that adjoined the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also served here. All food offerings were very good and table service was top-notch. We highly recommend staying at DeSyloia when you visit Hanoi"
