"Open minded to to many things I found the Royal Palace to be an excellent location in the heart of this vibrant city, close to many of the attraction and must see places in Hanoi Jimmy who mans the reception could not be more helpful advising you on the things to do and places to see and when the best times to visit Breakfast is served with the minimum of fuss for your own diet needs and always with a big smile if there is a better start to the day I have not found it. "The property was tucked away in a perfect location in Hanoi Old Quarter. After a 20 hr flight from Canada we arrived to a spacious, quiet suite with a very comfortable bed and ‘the best’ pillows! We found most, if not all, sights we wanted to see were in walking distance or a trip on the Hop On/Off bus took us there. As the street traffic (for walking in the evening) can be a bit overwhelming (but safe) we dined exclusively at the restaurant that adjoined the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also served here. All food offerings were very good and table service was top-notch. We highly recommend staying at DeSyloia when you visit Hanoi"
