"The reception staff were excellent. We had a terribly disrupted night by inconsiderate neighbouring guests, and they moved us to an amazing suite as an apology. "

The bathroom had swing doors which were stiff & noisy to open during the night & with an auto light sensor meant that when one of us got up to use the loo the other was woken up. Shame as it’s a lovely place & it wouldn’t put us off staying again. Also very handy location for Bristol airport. "

"Room was very clean and spacious with the biggest cosiest bed. Nice variety of drinks in the room. Bathroom facilities very good. We used the hotels restaurant and the food was outstanding. Lovely cosy fireside seating to relax into. We will definitely return. "

"This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here."

"We loved our stay - property was clean and in good condition, and walkable to everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again. Pro tip - there’s a coffee shop run out of a church about a block away. Hours are atypical, but great coffee and the nicest people on planet earth!!!"
