We stayed in the only balcony room which is a lovely big room . The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom . Nice powerful shower. We did eat in the restaurant and the meals we had were value for money . The staff were friendly and helpful .

Great stay at the hotel whilst visiting Wookey Hole, all staff very friendly. Ignore some reviews about the restaurant we thought both the breakfast and dinner were great, actually one of the hottest cooked breakfast I have had at a hotel, dinner was also good portions and not … if you have young children if you come out of the hotel and go up the steps to the right where lodges are loads of rabbits running about along the hedge row and field. If you get cheese in nearby cheddar the hotel will also happily store overnight for you in the fridge till you depart

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and had a wonderful stay here - we're looking forward to coming back! The rooms were clean, well supplied and spacious, the staff are all incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. I was very impressed at how efficiently the hotel is run. Most of the staff were very accommodating and overall, good value for money. As this was a family orientated hotel, I personally didn’t enjoy my stay as it was very noisy and no sound proofing.
