"Room was big, but cold. Bed was huge and comfortable. Nice coffee machine, but not enough coffee pods or milk. Nice hot shower. A bit noisy room with hearing the traffic. Paid over £100 for 1 night, would have expected parking to be free. Menu very limited, not a lot of variety to choose and very expensive. Food was cold on delivery to the room and missed items. "I was not expecting to pay for parking, this was not mentioned at the time of booking so I do not know if this is a Hotels.com issue or the hotel. It’s becoming a recurring theme of late which to me when you’re paying over £100 (usually between £110 and £140) room only, at locations with plenty of parking spaces is a stealth tax. Staff in the reception and bar area did not seem to know if I could eat in the bar or the restaurant. As a sole traveller I prefer the bar area so I can catch up on...

"Lovely old hotel in the midst of a major renovation. We were booked into a newly renovated room which was nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. There was some noise from renovations on weekdays but it was not particularly bothersome. The location is great - essentially equidistant between the Abbey and Roman Baths and the Circus and Royal Crescent. Buffet breakfast was very good and staff was inviting and helpful. Overall a very nice hotel. "

"Parking was fast and easy, multi storey car park right next to the hotel free of charge for hotel residents. Hotel is very centrally located, everything within walking distance.
