Within walking distance to a lot of bus and subway stops so easy to get around and there are stores and restaurants everywhere so it was great to explore Kyoto. "Great all around hotel at an even better price. Had a poor stay at another hotel before EN Hotel Kyoto and it's safe to say that it saved the trip. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good amenities and decent location. Only things is change are putting an outlet in the bathroom and making the bathroom itself a bit bigger. Other than that, I think you’d have a hard time finding a better bang for your buck. "

"Our overall stay was great. Can’t say that we have a lot of contact with staff but the few times I did, they tried really hard to help. The location was extremely convenient, because the hotel is in the middle of a shopping center. There are multiple convenience stores around, along with different types of restaurants. "Had a very nice stay here. Only saw one person at the front desk when we checked in and saw them 1-2 more times in 3 days. The place seems to run itself as there is a screen to check in and check out on. They had a machine for free soda, coffee, and tea, but ran out of cups the day we arrived and just put an out of order sign on it for the next 2 days we were there. I thought the room was nice and clean and I would stay there again. Very good deal."

"It was in the perfect location- although I must say, for whatever reason, taxis and Ubers would not drop off at the hotel instead the hotel down the block. The room was as authentic as the photos. The amenities were above and beyond. Thank you for being super helpful, and accommodating on our trip. Will definitely come back to stay at Hotel Resol in future if in Kyoto!"
