It is located in a nice quiet area of Kyoto and it is directly across the street from Umekoji station (just one station stop away from Kyoto Station). The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. There was still a few pieces of hair on the floor from previous guests, but nothing too abhorrent. "Would have L preferred that you had to use the hotel key to get up to the floors. Anyone could come in and press a floor in the elevator. I still felt safe as I did in the area.
