"As with many places in this part of Niseko, it’s getting dated. They have done some upkeep inside at least. All the investment is over in Hirafu and Hanazono. That said, this side of town still has a lot of charm. The good backcountry skiing is over here too. I enjoyed the onsen. The food was also good, but started to get repetitive after day 2. I stayed 4 nights and wouldn’t have wanted to do another meal per se. There are limited dining options on this side of town,but the isakaya down...

It was really nice to hang out and have a glass of wine to wind down after venturing around and exploring. I also received a free drink ticket. "Loved everything about the hotel and Niseko ski experience. My only suggestion is to add ski racks/tubes on the outside of the buses to make it much easier to transport back and forth to the ski area. Having your skis stacked on the front seats is inefficient and causes damage to the skis. It would be so much easier if there were racks on the outside of the buses. See Aspen or most US resorts for ideas/pictures"
