For exemple, we walked to San Ignacio Resort for the Green Iguana Conservation Project tour (20 minutes), then walked to Cahal Pech ruins (another 20 minutes) with 2 kids. "This is an exceptional resort. We stayed in the Mahogany cabana and it exceeded our expectations. It backed the river and was so pretty. The restaurant overlooks the river and is beautiful. The goat cheese platter was one of my favorite items on the menu. They make their own cheese. Be sure to visit their farm. We toured the Mayan ruins and also did the river tubing tour. "The grounds and pool at this hotel were stunning! Proximity to San Ignacio and all activities perfect! The room was lovely and spacious with a beautiful outdoor shower. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the head chef was so kind and thoughtful. My son and I got a stomach flu one day and she made us a an amazing ginger tea.
