"Rolson provided a great base for our travel in the San Ignacio area. The downtown is not too far but not really an easy walk away so you’ll need transportation like a taxi or car. "We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was so calm and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. It's definitely more at the 'rustic' end of the scale but we really enjoyed that aspect. "Nice comfortable rooms and relaxing pool. Great to have the restaurant there. It's only $10 to take a taxi from the center of San Ignacio. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Booked tours and a ride to the airport for me. Beautiful property. Wish they would plant more trees by the road to drown the noise some. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The familt thst run the property are not the owners. Very nice family however we did not get the room that we booked. We were told we had to have the basic room rsther than the superior room we chose as thw owner had not setup the Expedia system corectly. Hence the price we paid was only for the basic room. They need to sort this out as would have stayed elsewhere had we known. "

Fun stay in San Elena

"Property was in excellent condition and very clean. Front room has no A/C but if both bedroom doors were open and the fans were turned on, it cooled down nicely. We only used the A/C when we were there during the day and we were fine. The furnishings were fine too. Neighbor hood was typical Belize with both nice and run down houses. We enjoyed our stay and there were plenty of places to eat and things to do. Everywhere we ate was very good. If you visit Belize don’t expect 5 star accommodations, the country does not have fancy hotels and restaurants, but we love visiting places to learn the culture and how the locals live. You get that and a good taste of Belize in San Elena. We loved our stay and would do it again. Our hosts,Hadea and Tony, were very welcoming and seemed to really want us to enjoy their home and our time in country."

"Pictures really don't do the hotel justice for the queen + double bed room. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. San Ignacio is hilly, so keep that in mind for your walking, but great exercise. - Staff was great - Close (driving) to multiple cultural and natural sight seeing/experiences - Easy parking on site"

"Was doable for us as we were only staying for two nights. No fridge in room but had a communal fridge behind front desk and microwave. Had smart tv in room but couldn’t find any apps that worked but just signed in to my Netflix account. The staff was awesome and accommodating. Set in the middle of town where the market, restaurants, and nightlife. I would recommend. "
