"One of the best vacation experiences I have had— the lodge is beautiful and welcoming. They have thought of so many little details that make the stay better, from the hammocks and laundry service to how they arrange the restaurant and walkways. "I don't typically write reviews but I have to hand it to the staff at the Blancaneaux Lodge. Flawless service, kind, friendly and helpful at all times, in every area of the resort. The place is truly magical, and their incredible staff are the secret sauce. The property is top notch, but warm and authentic, not ostentatious or showy. My family felt immediately at home. "Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. Rooms and the restaurant was very clean.. also a small gift shop on site was nice. The bungalos were very neat with a nice fans...

"Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mahogany Hall. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure that we were able to eat before our tours in the morning and even prepared our dinner a little early on the day of our arrival because we had not eaten. Cant say enough, it was so wonderful."

"We had such a lovely stay at the treehouse. My cousin and I fell in love with the home the second we walked in the door. Tito met us there and gave us the lay of the land and many tips to get around. Catherine was so attentive and the connections to the trips and guides were spot on. We went on the Pine Ridge tour and did the ATM cave and were blown away by the beauty of the land and the knowledge of our guides. The home and activities combined made this a trip of a lifetime! Belize Mystic River

"The staff, the food, the service all excellent. Only comment is that having a massage during the rain on the yoga platform was not up to your standards. We had to ask several times for our massage to be in our rooms instead of freezing out in the open. Other than that our stay was very good and I would highly recommend Mystic River to anyone going to Belize."

"Vanilla Hills was a beautifully designed and executed resort. Every detail was carefully thought through and we were well taken care of for every part of our stay. Claudia, Karina and the entire staff were so attentive and kind. The food and drinks were incredible, and we loved getting to watch all the wildlife visiting to munch on fruit provided by the groundskeepers. Vanilla Hills coordinated all of our transport and excursions to be provided by Belize Caving Expeditions, and everything was top quality and so much fun. Thank you Vanilla Hills team! "

"We had such a lovely stay at the treehouse. My cousin and I fell in love with the home the second we walked in the door. Tito met us there and gave us the lay of the land and many tips to get around. Catherine was so attentive and the connections to the trips and guides were spot on. "We had the best stay there! The pool is awesome and the staff were very friendly. The grounds are a little overgrown… and this place looks like Covid hit it pretty hard, but it has SO much potential and we had such a great time that I hope more people stay there! Our room/cabana had a king and 2 doubles- Perfect for our family of 5! "
