"We enjoyed staying at sweet songs jungle lodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful while the grounds and rooms very nice and well maintained. We opted to use their shuttles and excursions which provided high quality guides and timely reliable transportation. We especially enjoyed canoeing from the lodge to San Ignacio on market day seeing monkeys and birds along the way and visiting nearby Mayan temples. We highly recommend staying here. "

"The Maya Mountain Lodge was our jungle oasis. It is a two minute drive from Santa Elena and less than 10 minutes from San ignacio. We stayed in Agouti which had a good sized bedroom with a 2 person table, bathroom and a kitchen in the porch area. The kitchen was set up with a microwave , toaster, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, gas stove, and oven. We cooked several meals there which is always a welcome change from eating out all the time.
