"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was so calm and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. It's definitely more at the 'rustic' end of the scale but we really enjoyed that aspect. The river is wonderful to jump in and cool off and Mario helped us with a river tubing trip that ended right at the hotel's desk. "Mike and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They were warm welcoming and full of advice for our time in San Ignacio. This is a lovely property and a bit away from town so it is quiet and you can hear the birds every morning. We really loved our time here! Strongly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mahogany Hall. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure that we were able to eat before our tours in the morning and even prepared our dinner a little early on the day of our arrival because we had not eaten. Cant say enough, it was so wonderful."

"A comfortable room, beautiful grounds and swimming pool, and helpful staff made our stay a relaxing escape. The lodge is conveniently located just on the edge of San Ignacio and is centrally located for tours of ruins and enjoyment of the natural beauty of the area. Their restaurant is a convenient alternative to going into town for meals. Highly recommended if you plan to stay in San Ignacio."

Lovely oasis not far from San Ignacio

"We enjoyed staying at sweet songs jungle lodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful while the grounds and rooms very nice and well maintained. We opted to use their shuttles and excursions which provided high quality guides and timely reliable transportation. We especially enjoyed canoeing from the lodge to San Ignacio on market day seeing monkeys and birds along the way and visiting nearby Mayan temples. We highly recommend staying here. "
