Hotel itself is nearly 400 years old, the whole building has plenty of interesting features. Room was large, clean and very comfortable overlookingthe lovely gardens. Tea, coffe and biscuits were provided."

"2nd time to stay here, you really cannot go wrong for the price, just as good as more expensive hotels. The staff at the hotel and restaurant are all friendly and efficient, a credit to the company. The hotel was nice and clean, would definitely recommend especially if you are travelling with children as the noise levels on both occasions were very low despite there being lots of guests"

"I saw previous reviews and think some people just moan for the sake of it, my stay and twin room did exactly what it needed to, the room though basic , was adequate for our needs, yes, there were a few mouldy patches in the shower room, but you tend to get what you pay for in my experience. I would stay there again."
