"The hosts were fantastic and always responded timely to all questions. They asked numerous times if we needed anything. A couple minor issues with a couple lights and their maintenance person came to fix within a day.We prepare most of our meals while at a VRBO. The kitchen was very limited on baking dishes, saucepans, glasses, cooking utensils. "This tiny home was a perfect spot for our father/son excursion to the Big Island. It had a fully equipped kitchen which was great for preparing meals. Everything appeared to be brand new and it was immaculate. It is secluded and private and had a great screened in area with fire pit. Communication was perfect, and was needed to find the location. I'd stay here again for sure. It was a great value and very comfortable! "

"I stayed there for two weeks. Nice studio apartment in a duplex. The only downside is it’s next to a busy road and when people are in the other unit above you, you can hear them walking around. Otherwise a great place to stay."

"We’ve stayed at Hulili before but this was our first time in the treehouse. We really enjoyed it! The property is wonderful. The treehouse is definitely a unique layout but it’s very well done. The structure itself is like a tall (vertical/stacked) cabin nestled in the trees. Lots of windows which we left open to let in the breeze; we found the temperature and airflow quite comfortable, especially at night. Note that there is a narrow/twisting set of internal stairs from the second level...

"Our family loved staying at this home in Hilo. It was very clean and inviting once we arrived. We were a total of 15 and this home was perfect. It's close to akaka and rainbow falls and the hot springs. I will keep this home in mind once we return to Hilo with our families. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
