"I read several negative reviews on the property. We found it quite adequate and really good in a few areas. Yes, some of the floors are not level. Yes, some of the furniture is older and has character. Yes, the elevators, hallways, room, and especially the bathroom are small. In New York City all these things add up to 'Vintage Charm'. The place was clean, staff for the most part very helpful. Location was really good. Close to many nice eating places AND walking distance to Soldier Field. 2...

"This place is a great place to stay, especially if you’re visiting for vacation. Rooms are not that expensive and they are quite nice and comfortable. Breakfast is really good and the staff gave great service. I greatly enjoyed my stay here and I will definitely be back next time I visit in Chicago."
