"This hotel is very nice and in an area that is not loud during the night which made it perfect for relaxing. They have a nice restaurant with a beautiful view, the breakfast was delicious. They have a happy hour twice a day. The rooms are left spotless with the cleaning staff. The street at the entrance takes you to so many local eateries. The only thing I wish they had was a coffee maker in the room, they do offer free coffee in the morning and it’s very rich, however you do have to go down to the restaurant to get it. "

"Had a bad experience in the restaurant with the waiter. Did not make us feel welcome at all and we heard him talking to the bartender saying we were Americans. Didnt let us sit where we wanted and it WAS NOT busy at all. Also didnt have tonic water for our drinks which was on the menu. Other than that experirnce, it was excellent. "

Everyone here was great but the pool staff of David, Eloy, Elvis, and Alfredo are beyond exceptional and the main reason we want to go back. "This was our second visit to Aura Del Mar; the first visit was when it was named Brisas Del Mar in 2010. This property has kept all the charm that we feel in love with back in 2010 and has made some incredible additions since. The pool deck over looking the ocean was peaceful and gave you a beautiful 360• view. The landscaping is gorgeous and tended to. The onsite spa has been updated and is lovely. Coffee machines in every room with fresh ground coffee provided. Turn down service at night. Cold A/C Friendly staff Abel is on the top deck serving happy hour and a gorgeous view of the sunset. The beach / pool towels they provide are adorable. This hotel is a gem. "
