"I have stayed here twice and will come back. It's a nice laid back property, now with a second larger swimming pool in the back of the main building. The staff is friendly and attentive. I haven't taken advantage of the mini-kitchen that is part of the terrace or balcony room. For nearby food, make sure you check out Jungle Pizza around the corner for a great thin crust wood-fired pizza. Also, there is a good Mexican restaurant, Las Adelitas. "Stayed here once prior in a much larger room which was comfortable. This time we were only able to get a tiny room. Felt tiny for the 2 of us. Plus, the shower/bathroom did not have good airflow or separation between spaces and resulted in a super wet bathroom floor that was unable to dry out easily. Next time we'd opt for a different room. Somewhat fun to be located in a part of town that isn't filled with tourists, if that's your thing."

Restaurant was convenient, though lacked in service for our experience. There's lots of stairs, so the constant up n' down can take a toll. Overall, we do recommend this hotel and would return. "

Beautiful place to have dinner and stay for sunset. There is a small restaurant that serves amazing fresh fish and very good drinks. Family friendly.

Travel tip: bring a small sketch book to capture ideas or inspiration from your travel. Write down food you like, ingredients or even a recipe. Names of people you meet. Ideas that come up. When you get back home, this will help bring back the feeling of connection to other places and cultures.

"We have been staying at Las Brisas since 2005 and always cannot wait to come back! Every room has a beautiful ocean view. We love hanging out at their beach that is totally private. Then we hangout at the lounge bar for amazing sunsets. The staff is all so nice. "

Nice vacation place to relax under the hot sun of zihuatanejo

Great place, walking distance, clean and spacious.

"We traveled to Zihua with three other couples for our 25th wedding anniversary and this was a perfect place for our 10 day stay. The listing pics are very accurate and the reviews of all of the stairs are also 100% accurate. But, if you’re in any shape at all, the location is perfect for a 15 minute walk into town. We did have neighbors for most of our trip but they were out when we were in, so we rarely saw them. There are also several small bars and restaurants along the walk to town if you choose to stroll in and enjoy. We did lose power for 24 hours due to some construction near by, but no fault to the property owner and they were helpful and attentive for anything we needed. There is a little breakfast spot right next door and “John” is a wonderful host and a close option for coffee and a delicious morning breakfast. Zihua is a sleepy little spot compared to Cabo or PV and we really appreciated that. We have other friends who live there in the winter and they were able to show us all around and give us tours of every inch of the bay. Very different experiences and we were very glad we saw them all. For a little get away out of town, we enjoyed a couple of days at the Puerta Paraiso beach club just south of town. A taxi can take you there cheap and it’s an absolute gem for a quiet day on the beach. We will be back!"

El Centro location convenient, quiet, and cool

"The best thing about our stay was the host - Guillermo and his wife Marlene went above and beyond: picked us up at the airport no charge; helped us track down my phone after I left it in a taxi :-( ; recommended restaurants; spoke English well and helped with translation; and even presented me with a birthday cake on my birthday! The place is quiet and private and 5 blocks from the beach."

Beautiful property

"We loved our stay in this house. We pretty much lived on the outdoor patio enjoying the view of the harbor, the boats, the sunrise, and the birds floating on the thermals. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The whole environment was very comfortable and relaxing, we felt right at home. There are two very good restaurants at the bottom of the steps that go past the house. Both have great views and great food. There is also a little hole in the wall called Club M down the street from the front door that has delicious simple food. The Wyndham in the other direction has a passable restaurant and offers massages by the pool for 528 pesos for an hour. You don't have to be staying there to go in. It was an easy walk into downtown Zihua, maybe 10 minutes. Loved, loved, loved our stay."
