"Amazing property where every room has an ocean view, private beach with awesome staff bringing drinks and snacks right to you. Clean rooms, comfy beds, decent buffet and really good restaurants. Bathrooms were clean but dated. Some menu items excluded from the all inclusive plan, was surprised by that but no biggie to buy them if you want. I would definitely return and recommend this resort for couples or families. "

"We had the best time staying in Emporio Ixtapa. The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was fun with live music in the lobby pretty much every night. I would recommend staying on the upper levels if you don't want to hear it super loud. We had an ocean view room which offered an incredible experience of getting the light as the sun rose. "Staff was so attentive and helpful (despite our lack of local language skills). Our room was clean and comfortable. The view from our room was incredible! The manager was accommodating when we asked for a late check out due to a late flight on our check out day. All in all, should we visit Ixtapa again, we would like to stay here!!!"

"Upon arrival you are greeted with smiles and helpful staff to gather luggage and help you to check you in. English speaking friendly staff in the front of the hotel. Unfortunately you are then inundated with staff required to offer you specials and deals they offer through the hotel, and do not take “no” for an answer easily. Throughout the rest of your stay anytime you walk through the front to the elevator to get to your room, you will be offered deals and promotions. This gets very tiresome...

"Amazing view of Zihuatanejo bay. Beautiful property. Short walk into town. Staff was excellent. Would have liked a refrigerator in the room. Local food was so amazing we always had leftovers. Maybe a shower door or curtain so we didn't flood the floor so much. Excellent over all."

"This is a really nice place building is old but everything works Great....love the pool and the beach acces private beach only for guests Dining opcion on site and all around....nice view of the ocean....the only thing i dindt like it was the SMAL BATHROOM...other than that everything else was grea 9/10"

"Amazing! Just reopening after the destruction of the hurricanes and have done a monumental job getting it ready to represent the Banyan Tree name properly. Everything is new from rooms and beds to gym equipment to tables and chairs along with structures. My villa overlooked the Pacific and was private and tranquil. This is a quiet facility at the tip of the point. If you're looking to party, it is probably not the place but if you're looking to relax and reset in tranquility, then this is the one! The food at La Nao had Saffron option in the evening as Saffron is opening in the next week or two - Saffron is one of my all-time favorite menus and this didn't disappoint. I will return to this resort soon. Can't give it enough praise."
