"Staff — excellent. Food — very good. Location — amazing. But two minor quibbles. 1. Bar closes at 6 — right when I start thinking about a cocktail. There is a space above the reception that is set up like a bar but was never open the two times we stayed there. 2. Rooms are luxurious but there is no glass in the windows/doors so when it is hot (most of the time in Zihuatanejo) you have all the shutters closed for A/C so no view at all. "This was our second visit to Aura Del Mar; the first visit was when it was named Brisas Del Mar in 2010. This property has kept all the charm that we feel in love with back in 2010 and has made some incredible additions since. The pool deck over looking the ocean was peaceful and gave you a beautiful 360• view. The landscaping is gorgeous and tended to. The onsite spa has been updated and is lovely. Coffee machines in every room with fresh ground coffee provided. Turn down service at night....

"This property was perfect for relaxation. It is gorgeous and the presidential villa was amazing. Every room was comfortable with adequate ac and the common area was large enough for a a family. The kitchen was large and had cooler with filtered water. The unit had it's own pool but we also enjoyed the infinity pool on the grounds. The only drawback was that the restaurant on the grounds closed its doors the day we arrived and there is nothing in the area so you must go out for meals or purchase...
