"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"

"We went to Xcalak not really ,knowing what to expect…we arrived to the property and made ourselves at home…we walked around town and most looked at us like we were as new in town as we were..this only lasted a few days and then everyone greeted us with a friendly smile and a Hola wherever we went Xcalak is the town time forgot…it’s a place where relaxation can truly take place…we ate at most of the restaurants in the area and enjoyed every meal…nothing fancy just real food The house was fine with a few things a little tired…they were measuring to change the cupboard doors but the kitchen utensils could use a major upgrade as well…it was fine but we did invest in a new skillet because the old ones needed to be replaced..all in all it was all good Hoping to one day go back and enjoy the peace and quiet of this awesome town"
