"Nice enough hotel but confusing development without good signage of how to get to your room. The 4th floor is broken up by the middle Section which only has 3 floors, so unless you know this is the layout, it could take you a while to find your room on the 4th floor. I had to ask an attendant how to get to my room, which was a first. The restaurant/bar area was mediocre. I expected more from a Marriott in a beach town, but the facility and room was nice enough. "This location was beautiful! SOOOOO charming and the room was sweet. Great trail walks ! My concern was that hotels.com advertised it as a warm pool heated and was really excited to swim overlooking ocean. Establishment said ,"they don't heat pool til end of March. No snacks anywhere but a beautiful restaurant, Breakfast with no staff around noone really welcomed us to property , restaurant staff friendly."

"Nice hotel near downtown Ventura and the beach. Valet parking, at a reasonable price. Easily walkable to downtown and the beach, as well as the boardwalk. Several restaurants nearby. Downside - barn door for the bathroom, so your partner can hear and smell everything going on inside and the light wakes up your partner at night. Please hotels! Stop using the barndoor set up for the bathrooms."
