"We have stayed at this motel 6 many times when we go to Joshua tree national park. It is inexpensive but clean, allows dogs, beds are comfortable and sheets are quality cotton. The shower is strong and consistent, and there is no weird cleaner smell or tobacco smell. I have never seen bugs of any kind and the surrounding area is safe with lots of dining options. "

"Staff was very accommodating, considering how late I arrived. All the staff was super friendly. I was downstairs, I could easily hear the upstair neighbors thumping around and everyone's water pressure as neighbors turned on their showers. Breakfast was good and much appreciated. Thank you."

"Great for the price. Good location. Room had a minifridge and microwave. Seems it and the Oasis next door are in the midst of renovations. Check in was across the parking lot, in the Oasis. Only one guy on the frontdesk, not enough for the two hotels, and also fielding calls. Bit of a wait to check in. Carpet was moderately clean. Wallpaper looked new, but coming apart at the seams. The "Zen Garden" is a filled swiming pool with artificial grass over the dirt. Not a lot zen about that. The patio of the Oasis Inn was filled with beds and furniture. Apparently, Starlight guests can normally go there, but not the pool at the Oasis."

"The hotel property and our room was clean. The pool and hot tub was exceptionally clean. The mexican restaurant on-site was really good. The staff was professional and kind. Stater Brothers was in walking distance. Aside from the traffic noise (which affected my sleep) it was a nice place to stay. We would definitely stay again."

"So, I started coming here cuz I had never been to Joshua Tree, the stay is cheap, the place is colorful and private, and I like to get away from the city during the holidays. I’ve now been here many times and I love it. They have recently repainted every unit all the wonderful colors and also repaved the driveway. I appreciate when owners take care of their property. The owner is a cool guy always a warm welcome and said he’s a gemologist which explains the cool crystals in the office. He’s colorful and I like that. The rooms are everything you need. The double bed is more like a king size, the AC and heat work great, nice big DirecTV, hot water, colorful big room, Kitchen with full fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, but the best thing is the sunrise view… just magic. I hope he considers putting a hot tub where the old pool was but it will make a nice sun deck or garden maybe someday. Being so colorful forces you to be happy. Go be happy. 10/10"
