"The hotel gave me a room with a gorgeous roll top bath as I had requested, so I was very grateful to enjoy a luxurious soak. I also was very happy with the breakfast; you can order anything off their menu, however it was inconvenient that breakfast wasn't served until 8am because I had a to be at a seminar in the centre of Oxford by 9am and I ended up arriving there late. I also could not find the car park so had to pay for the long stay. "

"This was our 9th time here, as a group of fellow motorcyclists, this place is a Central meeting place for all of us. The Dog house could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean. Good selection of drinks, decent meals and a good breakfast. "

"Full english lived up to a great breakfast.loved the cozy well equipped rooms.Would of liked a microwave in the room.Lots of outdoor space for the rooms which would be great in the summertime.Modern and very clean room.Excellent staff a shout out to the cleaning lady who provided excellent customer service.We will be back . microwv."

"Lovely pub with rooms in a village location. Easy to find. Very friendly staff. Straight forward check in and out. Room was a little tired and dated but comfortable. Very dog friendly."

"Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off."

"Fantastic service by all the team for our family stay over Christmas. A family member was unfortunately taken ill and the team looked after us extremely well - more than we expected them too. Rooms were clean, comfy and spacious. Couldn’t recommend more highly."
