"Quasi automated book in… Trying to get from the main road by car to the actual hotel requires driving through an industrial park. No apparent signage. In the dark not much fun. You can clearly see the hotel it’s just not that easy to drive up to it if you have never been before.. The rooms were good and practical. There was a bar and pool tables so all very ‘hip’. "Booked this last minute for our wedding anniversary, I added a message on booking to say as such. When checking in we got a free room upgrade and a two complimentary drinks. Room and bed were large, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Had robes and slippers(needed as bathroom tiles were cold!) "

"Great location and extremely convenient to have the free parking that we could come and go from and which was a 2 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly. Good breakfast with extra choices included to order like pancakes and omelettes. The room had a nice style - the brown decor looked modern rather than 70s - which I had wondered when booking from some of the pictures. The room itself was clean but overall a bit worn around the edges. Overall would stay again because of the convenience."

"Staff were so friendly and breakfast was lovely - we thought it was a bit much to have to preorder day before but it actually meant a quick, efficient service. And breakfast room very pleasant - bright and warm. The room was quiet and comfortable but a bit overpriced at nearly £100 without breakfast - everything is a bit work out. Chipped paint, old furniture, threadbare bed base. Shower was great though. "
