"As someone who once worked in the hotel industry, I can say this is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed & plan to come back to use it as a home base for exploring Italy north of Venice. The service, food and amenities were top notch. The property is beautiful. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to/from the airport/ferry without luggage (but they have a shuttle for that). "

"Location was great for walking central Venice and the plaza. Being able to get picked up by water taxi right at the hotel was very convenient. Everything was clean and well kept. Breakfast was good. One complaint was only one, single cup coffee machine in the breakfast room which resulted in a long line and wait to get coffee and chaos at breakfast."

"We have stayed here on all our visits to Venice and we like the history of the property and the location away from the hustle and bustle. Easy access to public transportation, but also easy to walk to the sights or just to wander down little side canals. But the main draw is the people. They are so very hospitable and helpful and make each visit feel like coming home. "

"Centrally located next to Rialto Bridge. Breakfast was nice. Beds are a bit too hard. AC worked well and room was quiet if you close the shutters."

"We had a lovely stay in a perfect location right next to St. Mark's Plaza with a cute little balcony that overlooked one of the canals. Breakfast was available each day, and the front desk staff were kind and attentive. Would stay again!"

"Great old place 3 minute walk to St Marks Square. Nice breakfast, decent size room and bathroom. The main thing is the location and price couldn’t have been better. I’d stay here again for sure. "
