"Outstanding hotel with close access to San Marco! Private vaporetto service through hotel for a small fee. Incredibly delicious breakfast buffett with fresh fruit, croissants, rolls, bakery, fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, desserts and more. Wonderful staff and the rooms are impeccably clean. Quiet small community of Guidecca at night with restaurants, bars, coffee shops. We visited San Marco during the day and spent nights in Guidecca. Boat ride is 10 minutes. I have business 2X a year in Venice...

"The staff is very welcoming and provided everything needed. The island is lovely. Once they heated the rooftop pool it was good. The food is delicious, many breakfast choices try the pimodoro upstairs or the ravioli in room . There is a water taxi charge if using other hours than shuttle times but easy to arrange or wait for free shuttle times. Highly recommend for the James Bond Italy feel of arrival a water taxi. Enjoyed how kind and friendly everyone on the island is to guests. "

"Beautiful, quaint hotel with a beautiful garden area and lovely villa right on the back bay. Doorman (wish I had his name) is phenomenal! Room “upgrade” was interesting as we had small ship pieces of the old ceiling fall on us multiple times while sleeping and we terminated 5-6 mosquitoes over the 2 nights. Coffee and tea replenishment needs to be more consistent, we got decaf coffee only and no replacement of herbal tea or water."

"This is perhaps the best service I've ever had in a hotel. The staff were knowledgeable about the area, restaurants, directions, and were warm and clear. The hotel shows the owner's very careful selection of everything, from lamps to snacks to toiletries and furniture design. My wife wants to return "quarterly." The whole experience gets 5 out of 5 stars."
