"This is an older property, likely developed in the 60’s. We were greeted warmly despite our early arrival. We stayed in a double twin room named “Tuna.” On entering the space there was a strong smell of cleanser. It adjoined two lodging areas on either side. We were able to hear a bit of conversation on both sides. The beds were comfy, the tea and coffee well stocked. My greatest distraction was the condition of the bathroom, considerably in need of updating. While the shower was good and strong...

"We stayed in a suite for a few days. We used it as a base of operations for a snorkeling trip to the Dry Tortugas out of Key West, and for exploring the southern Keys. The suite was comfortable for 6 of us, with 1 queen bed, 2 bunk beds, and a sofabed in the living/dining/kitchen area. Nice furnishings, the washer/dryer in the unit proved useful, and the staff were very helpful when we left something behind. We'll definitely stay there again when we're in the area. "

"It was kind of exciting. the cops showed up on the property and on the next door property to the North, there was a tree of stolen bouys and a stolen crab trap. It was quiet. there was a bit of a flood when it rained but within a day or 2 the water was gone. we had trouble opening the slider on the deck and I think there was moisture in the door. Hopefully we left it pretty clean. we had to be at the airport by 6:30. thank you, it was a wonderful stay. Patty "

"The house itself is pretty much as advertised. We selected it for the two master bedrooms. However, as others have noted, the second floor master bedroom is not very private. As we were all family it worked for us. We had a few maintenance issues, but the property manager was very prompt to take care of them. Overall, the host was very nice. For us, the biggest negative was the distance from Key West. It was advertised to be 20 minutes. Rechecking on Google Maps shows that it is 30...
