"Surprising poor restaurant. Highly touted by the servers who seemed very proud but the food just did not back up the hype. One of the worst risottos I’ve ever tasted served with an overly cooked piece of grouper on the first night, followed by an 8 oz fillet the next night, which was average at best. The fillet was served at room temperature and there was literally nothing compelling about the flavor or the texture despite being butchered and aged in house. "My family and I were there for a Sand Volleyball tournament, so not your typical type of stay. The tournament was being held on the beach directly behind the hotel so it was the perfect place to stay for this reason alone. One small issue, I had reserved a two queen bed room and I knew that we were going to be arriving late our first night so I called the hotel around 3p to ensure they knew we would be arriving at around 1030p. "All of the staff that we encountered were very nice and helpful. We were here for a wedding and the venue was typical for a hotel and nice. The food served at dinner was outstanding. About 120 people and delicious. The breakfast buffet was also great. Didn’t get to use the pool, etc. but location to the beach is perfect and close. Would definitely stay here again."
