"The staff at the Shoji lake hotel were superb, making both of us feel accommodated as soon as arrival. There is limited dining, and I would recommend those coming have a car to access the towns outside of the bus schedule. Aside from this, the baths, solitude from crowds and views of Fuji are outstanding. It's an older hotel, and it does not have an elevator. But they were quick to bring our bags to the room and provide any amenities we needed. Overall a great value getaway from the busier...

They give you a summary paper upon arrival with keys detailing your stay. When we were charged- I told it was their mistake, yet still charged me.
