"Great staff: we reached very late at night. The manager was kind enough to extend our onsen reservation for half hour without us asking. He stayed well past the midnight to make sure our onsen experience is complete! We are so grateful to him. Moreover, the facility is much nicer than we expected: Large lobby and living facilities, great decor and the private onsen is out of this world!"

"Our first ryokan experience and it was amazing. This place is a little remote and it was snowing and raining when we arrived so we decided to stay in and enjoy the relaxing 2 days here. The Japanese breakfast is awesome. If you want to try their dinner, make sure to email and order at least 2 days in advanced, it costs 8800 yen per person but it totally worth every penny. "We stayed two nights in a Japanese room with private open-air bath. It was fantastic. The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Words cannot describe the private open air bath which we used as much as possible. We had dinner and breakfast included - these meals may be challenging for western tastes but if you're feeling adventurous, go for it! Unfortunately the public bath was closed when we visited so I cannot comment on this."
