"The room itself was nice. Very quaint. But the sink leaked, nobs on the shower doors fell off and ants were readily present. The property looked tired and rundown. I could tell at one time it was a modern type resort, however, time has not been kind to the facilities. Grass was overgrown, bushes were untrimmed, sidewalks were covered with moss and weeds. "A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing.
