"Just had a one night stay in Henry’s townhouse in the James room. very comfortable room, very comfortable bed- exceptionally clean with a good size bathroom and excellent walk in shower. Love this property, felt like a home from home really interesting to look in each different reception room with its various knickknacks and artwork. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful couldn’t really fault it in anyway. would happily return another time"

"The property was my most favourite to date to stay in London. Being in Marylebone was a perfect area, along with the shopping, dining and being nearby a tube when you take the tube. Another hotel I stayed in London wasn't bad, but service and accommodation by the staff by Holmes Hotel London far exceeded my expectation. "

"Really nice furnishings, great location. There's no restaurant even though there's breakfast available. It was a really good place to stay, however the walls are paper thin so I was kept up several nights with loud talking through the wall... luckily the service was good and they sorted it, but... it was annoying"

"Hotel is smart. The room is luxurious (i.e.bedding), but very small. Kettle unnecessarily complicated and sink so small that you can barely fill the kettle! No mini bar/fridge, no iron, no desk. Free drink voucher but no one in the bar to serve it (tried twice)"

"It's a stone's throw from Paddington Station (with underground and bus service to central London and non-stop service to Heathrow) in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and the bathroom was particularly big with copious hot water. I'd avoid the continental breakfast: there's Cafe Panache on the way to Paddington."

"The outstanding friendliness and attentiveness of the staff truly stand out. The excellent location is just a few minutes from Paddington Station. While the narrow, steep stairs, compact rooms, and limited soundproofing—typical of London buildings—might be a concern for some, the hotel is super clean and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the small space for a tidy and comfortable stay. I’ll return to this hotel the next time I travel via Heathrow."
