"Great hotel if you want to stay in a castle it is kept to a good standard considering it is a castle , the staff are more than helpful and are all wanting to please you , we had evening meal which was very good which we both enjoyed, we are on a gluten free diet and it was no problem at all for them, the breakfast the next day was also really good , the grounds are also very nice to walk around and explore, we both enjoyed staying here thanks to all the hard working staff we most likely will return "

"It was easy walking to town centre and parks. The race course is right next door to hotel if you want to go. This was our second visit to the hotel and the staff there are very friendly and they went the extra mile for us "

"The property was ideal for our break, very clean and well kept. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful and polite. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the sauna wasn't in operation but everything else was great and as described. We travelled to Chester by train and found the public transport and taxis very reasonably priced with the local buses stopping almost outside of the hotel drive.
